Your License Key
Enter your key once, use it on up to 3 devices, and keep your work whatever happens to the key.
A License Key is what turns JSpark into JSpark+. It comes by email when you buy a plan on JSpark+. It carries no date: it is valid, or it is not.
Enter your key
- In any needs JSpark+ message, click Unlock JSpark+….
- Paste your License Key.
JSpark checks the key online once, so this step needs a connection. JSpark+ is then unlocked in place: no restart, and nothing on disk changes. Settings → About and the footer then name your plan.

After that, JSpark+ works offline. When you are online, JSpark checks the key with the store at most once a day. Being offline, or the store being down, never turns JSpark+ off.
Your devices
A key is for one person, on up to 3 devices, Mac or Windows in any mix. To use JSpark+ on more, buy another License Key. Each person needs a key of their own.
A new computer
- On the old computer, deactivate the key. This frees its place.
- On the new one, install JSpark and enter the same key.
If the old computer is gone, free its place on Polar's customer page. Your Saved Snippets do not move by themselves: see Export and import.
When a Yearly key lapses
A Yearly key is JSpark+ while you pay for it. Cancel at any time on Polar's customer page: JSpark+ lasts until the end of the year you paid for. When it lapses, the app goes back to JSpark. A Lifetime key never lapses.
Going back to JSpark takes nothing away:
- Saved Snippets stay readable and openable.
- Installed packages keep working.
- Open tabs stay open, even more than 3.
- Settings keep their values.

Refunds
Any payment can be refunded within 30 days, renewals included, with no reason needed. Email support@jspark.app from the address you bought with, or give the order number from Polar's receipt.
The refunded key stops working. Each device goes back to JSpark the next time it checks the key online, and nothing you made is deleted. The full text is the refund policy.
The pictures show JSpark on a Mac. On Windows, the window looks a little different and uses Ctrl for ⌘, but everything works the same way.
