Refund policy

JSpark+ is sold by Polar Software, Inc., as merchant of record and reseller. Ananda Rizki, the individual in Indonesia who makes JSpark, licenses the app to you. Little Spark is a brand name Ananda Rizki uses on the Polar store, and the name on your receipt and card statement. It is not a separate legal entity.

30 days from any payment, no questions asked

You can have a full refund within 30 days of any payment for JSpark+:

• a first purchase, Yearly or Lifetime;
• each Yearly renewal;
• a License Key added to a Yearly plan part-way through the year.

You don’t need to give a reason. I may decline a refund when the same buyer has asked for several before. The 30 days are counted from the date of the payment you want refunded. They are for refunds, not a trial: the free edition, JSpark, is how to try the app, for as long as you like.

How to ask

Email support@jspark.app from the address you bought with, or include your order number from Polar’s receipt. The refund is issued through Polar, to the card or account you paid with, and includes any tax you were charged. When it reaches you depends on your bank or card issuer.

What happens to the app

• When the refund is issued, the License Key is revoked and a Yearly plan is cancelled. On each device the key is activated on, the app returns to JSpark, the free edition, the next time it checks the key while online (at most once a day).
• Nothing is deleted. Your Snippets, your Library, your installed packages, your open tabs and your settings stay exactly as they are. Everything you saved stays readable and openable; only what JSpark+ adds is limited again.
• Refunding a renewal ends that key, and the app returns to JSpark, just as if the plan hadn’t been renewed.
• If you bought several Seats, you can ask for one to be refunded; the others keep working. To be confirmed with Polar. #24

After 30 days

After 30 days a payment isn’t refundable, except where the law requires it. You can still cancel a Yearly plan at any time on Polar’s customer page. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and JSpark+ lasts until the end of the year you paid for.

Your other rights

This policy adds to your rights; it doesn’t replace them. Where you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase or to a refund, for example as a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep it, and you are never asked to give it up to buy JSpark+.

Polar may also issue refunds under Polar’s Buyer Terms and Conditions, for example after a payment error or suspected fraud. If something is wrong with a charge, please email first: a refund is quicker than a chargeback, and your card issuer’s chargeback rights are unaffected either way.
