Any npm package, in every Snippet.

Search npm and read any package, in both editions. With JSpark+, install it once, and it works in Node and Web Snippets, offline.

02

The Starters’ packages, offline

React, Vue, Svelte and three.js come inside JSpark, so a Starter’s first Run needs no connection.

Each Starter’s package has a lock: it came with JSpark, and its Starter needs it.
03

Install once, for every Snippet JSpark+

Click Install. The package works in Node and Web Snippets, with its types for TypeScript.

The Snippet ran as it was typed because JSpark knows date-fns only computes. Most other packages wait for Run.
04

The same package, in a page JSpark+

A package you install works in Web Snippets too. JSpark builds it for the page when you install it, so the page works offline.

The page imports date-fns by name, as a Node Snippet does, with no URL and no connection.
05

Update, change the version, or remove JSpark+

When npm has a newer version, Update appears. Any version is in the menu, and Uninstall removes the package.

date-fns 4.1.0 is installed, and 4.4.0 is out. Update and Uninstall are one click each.

Good to know

No install scripts run
If a package needed one, the Packages window says “Setup skipped. It may not work.”
Offline after install
Installed packages work with no connection. Searching and installing need one.
CDN imports, in both editions
A Web Snippet can import a package from a CDN without installing it.
Run as you type
In a Node Snippet, an imported package waits for Run, unless JSpark knows it only computes, such as lodash, date-fns or zod.
